BONUS HOMEWORK-Bring in an addition or subtraction problem using Easter items(draw on paper, write the problem and answer) for a treat. Due by April 10.

APRIL 5- 12 (NOON) COME TO SCHOOL AND LEARN WAYS TO HELP YOUR CHILD WITH READING. Afterwards, we will have ice cream and the Kindergarten Egg Hunt. Your child needs to bring a basket for the egg hunt.

APRIL 6-9 EASTER HOLIDAY

APRIL 26- FIELD TRIP TO VISIT THE CLAY LADY IN NASHVILLE

APRIL 27- KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION- FOR CHILDREN WHO WILL BEGIN KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL YEAR 2012-2013

Secret Spring Break Assignment for Prize

I want to see who checks out our classroom blog. So I thought I would post this special assignment for a special prize. :-) Write a sentence about what you are doing over spring break and draw a picture about it. Bring your assignment in on Monday, March 19, for a special surprise. I can't wait to read what you did this week!

DR. SUESS DAY - March 2

We will be celebrating "Read Around America" and Dr. Suess on March 2. Your child may dress as their favorite Dr. Suess or storybook character on Friday, March 2.

Valentine's Day

WOW!! Our "100th Day" activities were fun!! We still have a few more activities to go with 100th day that we will be completing this week. Our Valentine's Day party will be Feb. 14 at 12:45. Each child needs to bring in a valentine to pass out to each child for the party. I would like to take this time to say thank you again for all the support you have given your child this year. It is great to have every child turn in their homework everyday. Thank you also for the treats for our special activities and parties. We couldn't do it without the the support of our parents. :-)

100th Day of Kindergarten

Friday, we will be celebrating our "100th Day of Kindergarten". Your child may bring in 100 small items in a box or small box for our "100 Day Museum". I can't wait to see your child's collection. We will be doing a lot of activities that focus around the great number "100". Our Valentine party will be on Feb. 14 at 1:45. Please send valentine cards on Monday, Feb. 13. Please let your child address the cards. This will help your child with their handwriting and will help your child be able to read the names when they are passing them out.
