Kindergarten Recognition Program

Our Kindergarten Recognition Program will be Wednesday morning at 8am. We will have donuts and juice following the program in the classroom. Make plans to come and hear your child sing. It is a not to miss program! There will be a slide show of kindergarten memories shown. The program and slide show may be ordered after the program.

Field Day Postponed til Thursday May 10

Field day has been postponed til Thursday, May 10. Students must wear tennis shoes to compete in events. Your child may bring waterbottle, towel to sit on, hat or sunglasses if needed and sunscreen. We will eat lunch outside. Kindergarten events start at 8am. Come and watch.

SPRING CARNIVAL - MAY 5 - HELP NEEDED!!

WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS FOR THE LIVE AND SILENT AUCTION AT THE COMMUNITY WIDE SPRING CARNIVAL THAT WILL BE HELD AT J.W. WISEMAN ON MAY 5 FROM 10-4. THE LIVE AUCTION WILL START AT 4PM. THE PROFITS FROM CARNIVAL WILL BENEFIT SCHOOLS IN PORTLAND. I NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP IN THE KINDERGARTEN BOOTH FROM 1PM-3:30PM, SEND ME AN EMAIL OR NOTE IF YOU CAN HELP FOR 30 MINUTES OR MORE.

WE NEED SMALL DONATIONS FOR THE KINDERGARTEN BASKET FOR THE SILENT AUCTION. THE KINDERGARTEN BASKET IS AN OUTDOOR FUN AND PLAY BASKET. PLEASE SEND ANY TYPE OF OUTDOOR FUN ACTIVITIES BEFORE MAY 1.

BONUS HOMEWORK-Bring in an addition or subtraction problem using Easter items(draw on paper, write the problem and answer) for a treat. Due by April 10.

APRIL 5- 12 (NOON) COME TO SCHOOL AND LEARN WAYS TO HELP YOUR CHILD WITH READING. Afterwards, we will have ice cream and the Kindergarten Egg Hunt. Your child needs to bring a basket for the egg hunt.

APRIL 6-9 EASTER HOLIDAY

APRIL 26- FIELD TRIP TO VISIT THE CLAY LADY IN NASHVILLE

APRIL 27- KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION- FOR CHILDREN WHO WILL BEGIN KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL YEAR 2012-2013

Important Dates

March 26 - Report cards go home
April 5th - Kindergarten Egg Hunt--Your child needs to bring 24 plastic
Easter eggs and two or three bags of individually wrapped
candy before this date
April 6-9 - Easter Holiday

Secret Spring Break Assignment for Prize

I want to see who checks out our classroom blog.
