Let it Snow!!

Wow! The snow days have really kept us inside being scientists. We have been working hard learning, learning and learning. Your child is making a lot of progress on the way to First Grade! I sent home a new passcode for Reading Eggs. This is a great reading program that your child can use at home. Check it out with your child. Continue to practice sight words and looking for sight words in the things you read to your child at home. Spring and spring break will be here before we know it. Spring break is scheduled for March 22 - March 30.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Can you believe that half of this kindergarten year is already over? We have started this year with the story "The Mitten" and "Snowballs". We are learning what a scientist does and ways that we can be a scientist. The children are getting excited as we get closer to the "100th Day of School". We have been talking about ways to count to 100 (by 1's, 5's, 10's) and have been talking about our 100th day class party.
